Fishing, boating, playing, and the dinosaur park... the boys crammed in all kinds of fun while visiting Gammy & Poppy at their lake house. They caught 11
huge fish in two days, but seemed to be just as interested in the bucket of minnows Poppy bought for bait. The boys were also excited to see water snakes... 4 of them slithered past as the boys fished.
After dinner, Anderson helped himself to some delicious sugar cream cake... from Anita's plate! He just pushed her plate down to his level and grabbed the cake... it was priceless!
We capped the weekend off with a trip to the local dinosaur museum. Poppy knew the boys would love the big green dinosaur in front of the park, but we had no idea what to expect inside. Let's just say, it was a little random, but the boys loved it nonetheless. The first part of the self-guided tour was the anti-gravity room... not sure how this ties in with dinosaurs, but it was fun to see everyone try to stand up. The rest of the tour included all kinds of creatures... some were dinosaurs and others were hit-or-miss animals (like a giant parrot). At the end of the tour, a giant wholly mammoth surprised the boys with sprays of water from it's trunk. Lots of smiles and giggles... it was a great Memorial Weekend!

That looks like such a fun weekend! A total "boys" weekend. I love it.
We'll be in Columbus the 5th, and leave for home on the 6th. Perhaps we could stop by to see you guys?!?!
