Our 3rd annual gingerbread decorating activity was extremely messy & fun. Harrison initially attempted to recreate the example on the box, but when he found leftover blue icing from his Star Wars cake, he changed his mind. He decided it made a nice "freezing" effect, so he covered nearly everything with the "really cold ice." And while Harrison worked, Anderson sampled all of the candy and icing. AJ threw a few sprinkles on the house, but he spent the majority of time eating what he felt Harrison would not use. However, he did pull out his broom to help Mommy with clean up... (and you can imagine how helpful he was!)
Before the kids left for winter break, Anderson had his school Christmas program. The weather was awful that morning, and New Albany had actually canceled school, so Harrison was able to attend the big show. Anderson did not disappoint. He was so excited for Harrison to see his girlfriend, Beatrice, he affectionately put his arm on her shoulder and pointed to her during the program. And then they walked hand-in-hand to the after-party. The happy couple enjoyed milk and cookies and then posed for pictures.
