Today we took the boys to the circle S farms in Grove City to find a "huge pumpkin," and enjoy comfort foods, a hayride and a scarecrow hay maze. The weather was perfect, and the boys had so much fun. They loved the maze; it was full of tunnels and lots of space to run, run, run (off the sugar from the cookies they had with lunch...). Then, it was off to the patch to find the "
hugest pumpkin." Harrison ran around looking for the biggest pumpkin he could carry, while AJ wasn't interested in size- quantity was more of his focus. He grabbed about a half a dozen smaller pumpkins and loaded them into the wagon. Once they found their pumpkins, we hopped on the hayride. It was a bumpy ride, and the boys loved every minute of it. Then, it was off to the big slide in the barn full of hay... AJ knows NO FEAR. He climbed up that haystack with the other big kids and headed right for the slide. Harrison was a little cautious at first, but he made it. Finally, we headed back to the car for a long car ride home. AJ slept while Harrison admired his giant pumpkin sitting under his seat.
