What a fun Halloween! First, the boys got to wear their costumes to school; Harrison was the only scorpion in a sea of Spidermen. He was so happy with his costume; it was fun to watch him. Then, the boys carved their new pumpkins with Grandpa Dave. AJ's pumpkin was nice and simple while Harrison's was "so scary." He designed it himself (with a
little help from Mommy & Grandpa). He was so proud of it! I'm sure if it were up to Harrison, it would be sitting in his room right now.
The boys also enjoyed a surprise package full of candy and rubber snakes & bugs from Pop and Mama... naturally, Harrison went for the toys while AJ dug into the chocolates. (he's not 75 percentile in weight from missing out on treats!)
And trick-or-treat night was the most fun! We went back to Grandpa Dave's and Grandma Jane's for beggar's night. Harrison could not wait to show off his scorpion costume, and Anderson although hestitant at first, completely hammed it up when we hit the street. Both boys loved the concept... run up to house, smile, mention something about "trick or treat," and get FREE candy! They enjoyed every minute of it, and every bite of candy. I still don't know how they didn't get sick! At least it's only once a year...
