Graduation, bubbles, a birthday and more! The last few weeks have been full of fun! Harrison 'graduated' from Kindergarten; Anderson successfully completed his preschool year. And our baby turned ONE! Where does the time go? Before Harrison's graduation, his school hosted a "bubble day" for the kindergarten class. It was a social event full of different bubble activities, temporary tattoos, face painting, sugar snacks and more. He had a blast, and it was fun for me to see him interact with his friends... the chicks dig him, I have to admit. Then, family came down to help us celebrate his graduation. There was a nice ceremony at the school, followed by a reception in his classroom. He was excited to show everyone his class folder, and Anderson was thrilled to be there to support his brother. He really is Harrison's number one fan. The boys took swim lessons back to back, and Anderson wasn't crazy about swimming himself, but he sure enjoyed cheering Harrison on. And now Anderson is in soccer/basketball camp, and Harrison is helping him stay focused. We are so lucky to have such supportive kids. They fight, but they love and support each other... when it matters most. And Kare Bear turned ONE! We took her to
Toys R Us on her big day to buy her something special, but we spent most of the time finding new Transformers for the boys. Ya know, the new movie is coming out soon, so we had to check out the new "guys." Karrington did get a new girl toy before we walked out! Uncle Ryan and Aunt Amy sent a birthday package for our lil' girl. Anderson opened it for her, and as he examined the clothes, he would say, "oh, this is cute." Then he showed her how to wear her new sun hat. Mr. Helpful! And finally, we had a small bbq to celebrate her birthday. She wasn't into her cake, but the boys were more than happy to help her eat it. And Great Grandma Dotti made good on her promise to play with the boys on their swing set. 80+ years young, and she climbed the ladder and went down the slide. The kids (and grown ups) loved it. She's still got it! We are blessed to have such great family and friends. Thank you everyone for making the kids special moments so extra special...
